Causes of Anxiety Disorders
Panic attacks usually occur because people feel a sense of unreality, or they fear doom or they think they have lost control. A panic attack can happen absolutely any time at all, even during sleep, and appear to be an inherited disease.
OCD may ebb and flow, disappear and re-appear or even become progressively worse. Patients may or may not be aware that their OCD is interfering with their lives and normal routines.
PTSD occurs after some physical injuries are inflicted on the patient themselves or they see it being inflicted on loved ones or even strangers. It can be triggered when someone sees or is themselves mugged, raped, physically torture, kidnapped, or is injured in a car or train accident, a plane crash, maybe even a terrorist bombing. If people are caught up in natural disasters like floods, or earthquakes or fires or man-made disasters like war, then PTSD will surface within 3 months.

Epinephrine shot If you are known to have a severe anaphylactic reaction, carry an epinephrine (adrenaline) shot with you at all times. Pay attention to expiration date and replace it regularly: upon expiration, it loses its effectiveness. |

Acyclovir Acyclovir is a medication that is used to treat herpes infections of the skin, lips and genitals, chicken pox and shingles. It comes in the form of ointments, tablets, capsules or liquids. It relieves pain and itchiness and promotes healing; however, it does not cure the condition. Possible (but not common) side effects include headaches, upset stomach, vomiting and diarrhea. Severe side effects, such as severe rash or itching, blood in the urine, stomach pain or fever are even less common, but require prompt medical attention. |
